Belhurst Castle is a former private residence on the shores of Seneca Lake, that was built between 1888 and 1892. Belhurst Castle has been used as a speakeasy during Prohibition, casino, and supper club. It is now an hotel. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.
It is reputedly haunted by a woman in white sighted on the lawns. Some witenesses claim to have captured photographic anomalies and had strange dreams whilst staying there. The sounds of a baby crying and a female signing a lullaby have been reported.
